Racial Advantage

A Tough Elf [Physical] (3 Points)
It’s rare but there are sometimes elf that really can take a punch or two with out complain. You do not suffer from the effects of the elven racial disadvantage Frail physic. This Advantage can only be purchased by Elf characters during character creation.

Arcane Intuition [Arcane] (4 Points)
With their mastery over the arcane, it’s only natural that some Moon Elf’s have become more adapt at casting spontaneous spells. When casting a spontaneous spell the TN is reduced by 10. This Advantage can only be purchased by Moon Elf characters during character creation.

Blood of the Dark [Arcane] (8 Points)
Your ancestors embraced the dark the found themselves in, becoming part of it and growing stronger from it. You gain the Ethereal, partial Special Rule. You however lose the Ethereal Special Rule when attacked by a spell with the Light Keyword or a enchanted object tuned to light for 2d10 rounds minus your magic or earth ring. You also gain the Weakness Special Rule (Double damage) against all spell with the Light Keyword or a enchanted object tuned to light. This Advantage can only be purchased by Pit Elf characters during character creation.

Close to the Wild [Physical] (5 Points)
It is rare but sometimes a wood elf is born that have a closer connection with their animal side. When you purchase this advantage pick one additional Animal Touch racial advantage. This Advantage can only be purchased by Wood Elf characters during character creation.

Family network [Social] (12 Points)
Your family has cultivated a large commercial network over the century’s. You can use this network to acquire almost any object desired. You can once per session for free contact your network you can acquire one non-magical object which would otherwise be unavailable, you can attempt to gain more objects by making a Commerce / Intelligence against a TN of 25. This will allow you to gain one more object. For every additional object you gain the TN Increases by 10. Once you stop or fail, you can not attempt to use your network for the next week plus a number of additional weeks equal to the number of rolls, these weeks must pass before the network can be used again. The GM has the final say on what you can acquire. This Advantage cannot be used in environments where it would be impossible to make contact with your family’s network (e.g. Wandering the desert, exploring the Shadow woods, etc). This Advantage can only be purchased by Dusk Elf characters during character creation.

Gigantism [Physical] (12 Points)
All mortal races can suffer from Gigantism, but Orcs and Saurians don’t tend to suffer from any of the health problems often associated with the disorder. Besides your size increasing by anywhere from 70% to 100% you gain a +2k0 on all brawl skill rolls against anyone smaller than you, and a +1k1 bonus on all close combat damage rolls. But you can no longer use normal small sized weapons and you count medium weapons as small, large weapons as medium and huge weapons as large. Armour and clothes costs 50% more for you and you suffer a -3 on your natural armour TN. And finally you gain the Hardy special rule at rank 1. This Advantage can only be purchased by orc or saurian characters during character creation.

Ore Nose [Physical] (4 Points)
Your nose is able to smell ore that is close by. With this advantage your able to make perception and Investigation rolls to locate any form of ore or metal, be it unrefined, ingots or metal objects. This Advantage can only be purchased by Dwarf characters during character creation.

Proper Goblin Family [Social] (Points 1-5)
You come from a proper goblin family, you have dozen of siblings, hundreds of cousins, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews who you can call upon for aid. For each rank you gain two allies from the Allies Advantage with Influence 1 and Devotion 1. These allies must be part of your family and can only be Goblins, Gobs or Humans. You can spend additional experience points to upgrade these allies. This Advantage can only be purchased by goblins and gob characters.

Sharqi Arcana [Arcane] (2 Points)
While any dance or song will enhance the power of arcane spells, your dancing empowers your spells far more than other mages. You receive half your perform: dance skill in addition to what you normally receive for dancing and singing while casting a spell. This Advantage can only be purchased by Naga characters during character creation.

Snow Child [Physical] (5 Points)
You’re a true child of the cold. Your flesh take the appearance and feeling of freshly fallen snow. Your strange body also has it’s benefits. Your able to turn in to a miniature blizzard, giving you three ranks of the swift special rule and the partial flight special rule. While in this form all fire damage deals an additional 50% more damage and your unable to attack, cast spells or invoke prayers. The fire damage stacks with the Children of Winter Racial Ability. You can enter and leave this form as a simple action. This Advantage can only be purchased by Snow Elf characters during character creation.

Solar Child [Physical] (2/4/6 Points)
Unlike your half blood kin you have stronger bond with one of your parents race, when buying this advantage you choice one racial advantage that one of the parent race has and either increase one advantage that you both share, so that it gives the same bonus. Or add a advantage that one of your parent race has but you don’t. For example; A player that has chosen to be a half-orc could purchase this advantage and decide to upgrade his pain resistance from 3 to 5, so he has the exact same advantage as a full blooded orc or decide to add adaptable to his racial advantages an be closer to a human. This Advantage can only be purchased by Half-Elf’s, Half-orc’s or Gobs characters during character creation.

Strong Origin [Physical, Mental or Arcane] (10 Point)

Symbiotic [Arcane] (4 Points)
You have been born with a power common to the Dawn Elf bloodline, you’re able to bond with a animal on such a level that you and the animal in question come to share powers. By spending at least a week bonding with an animal you’re able to temporary gain any one special rule that animal has, or anything the GM allows. The animal can be given one skill rank in any skill you have. Of course if the animal lacks the physical capability to use the skill, then it’s wasted on them. During this week you remain be the side of the animal in question, leaving it too long will reset the process. In addition to this ability you’re able to sense the emotions of your bonded animal and communicate telepathicly with it up to twice your magic ring in meters. However if your bonded animal dies then in addition to losing the ability gained from it, you also suffer from a deep depression or some other mental instability that lasts for a full month. For the first week you have a TN penalty of 10 on all things and a 5 point TN penalty on all things for the remaining three weeks. While in this depression you can’t bond with another animal. This Advantage can only be purchased by Dawn Elf characters during character creation.

Well Travelled [Mental] (9 Points)
Your from a well travelled family, your kin has crossed many country’s and wandered thorough dozens of landscapes. When you purchases this advantage you gain two free Languages Advantage of your choice and may pick the advantage Way of the Land up to three times. This Advantage can only be purchased by ogre characters.

Racial Disadvantage

Arcane Allergy [Arcane] (1/3/8 Points)
The elf’s of the moon bloodline have for century’s dabbled with the arcane. Their fascination with magic has saturated their entire civilisation, leading to some becoming allergic to these mystical energies. For one point you suffer from one or more allergic symptoms. Such as irritation of the nose or skin, sneezing, swelling, itching, cramps, redness of the eyes or skin. Regardless of how the symptom manifests it gives you a TN penalty of 5 to all rolls when in contact with any Arcane Magic. Regardless of the magic’s source. For three points you suffer a TN penalty of 10 instead. For eight points you also must make a Earth Ring roll against a TN of 20 or suffer a serious allergic reaction. Unless you receive non-magical treatment you will die after a number of hours equal to your Earth Ring. This Disadvantage can only be purchased by Moon Elf characters during character creation.

Ancestral Hatred [Social] (3/5 Points)
The hate for Worenius and all other elves has remained strong in your family, so strong that it burns fiercely with in you thousands of years after the actual event. This hate has bin pasted down from your parents onto you, colouring your opinions. For 3 points your unable to enter any temple to Worenius, interacting with any of his followers or other elf that isn’t a Pit Elf unless you beat a Willpower TN of 25. For 5 points you must take a hostile or antagonistic actions against any follower of Worenius you meet if you fail the roll by 15 or more. This Disadvantage can only be purchased by Pit Elf or Half-elf’s of the Pit bloodline characters during character creation.

Carnivore [Physical] (1/3 Points)
Your metabolism is that of a carnivore and thus you’re unable to gain sustenance from anything but meat. For three points, your body suffers from cramps, stomach aches and diarrhoea if you eat any vegetables, fruits or plants. Resulting in a TN penalty of 5 on all physical actions. This Disadvantage can only be purchased by Wood Elf or Saurian characters during character creation.

Curse of Thorns [Physical] (5 Points)
You suffer from a condition orcs call Curse of Thorns, it manifests as bony spikes growing from your flesh anchored in your bones. These growths causes you both great pain and discomfort. When ever you make roll with a Physical Trait you suffer one wounds that can’t be reduced in any way. Armour must be custom made for you, costing 10% more. If you wear armour not made for you, the wounds suffered are increases by one. While the tops of the spikes can be removed, requiring a successful medicine roll against a TN of 20 and takes two hours. You still suffer the damage from the Physical Trait roll but won’t have to retrofit armour in order to wear it. On the other side, anyone that tries to grapple you suffers two wounds each round they’re in a grapple with you, they are unaffected if they’re wearing armour. This Disadvantage can only be purchased by Orcs characters during character creation.

Herbivore [Physical] (1/3 Points)
Your metabolism is that of a Herbivore and thus you’re unable to gain sustenance from anything but vegetables, fruits, plants and so on. For three points, your body suffers from cramps, stomach aches and diarrhoea if you eat any meat. Resulting in a TN penalty of 5 on all physical actions. This Disadvantage can only be purchased by Dawn Elf characters during character creation.

Hoarder [Mental] (3 Points)
All dusk elf’s suffer from a need to collect things, but unlike your kinsmen you have a very hard time getting rid of things you own. When ever you try to sell or give something away you must succeed on a Willpower roll against a TN of 20. If you fail then you can’t sell or give away the item in question that day. This Disadvantage can only be purchased by Dusk Elf characters during character creation.

Ice Child [Physical] (5 Points)
You’re a true child of the cold. Your flesh resembles that of cloudy ice. Unfortunately your exotic appearance comes with a flaw, your body is brittle. Any physical damage you take gains a DR bonus of 1k1. This Disadvantage can only be purchased by Snow Elf characters during character creation.

Infamous Family [Social] (4 Points)
Your family is rather famous, but not for anything one should want to be known for. Smuggling, banditry, blackmailing, extortion, theft, assaults and/or murder fills your family’s history. When ever someone makes a Renown Check to see if they recognize you, you gain three temporary Infamy ranks. Your family might also ask you to help them with their illegal activities, giving them a temporary hideout, aid in smuggling goods, store stolen objects and so on. You may also purchase the Crafty Advantage for one less experience point. This disadvantage can only be purchased by goblins and gob characters during character creation.

Night Fatigue [Physical] (4/8 Points)
You’re one of the children of the sun who grows weak the longer you are away from it’s warming rays. You suffer a 5 point TN Penalty on everything when you’re not in the sun. For 8 points this TN stacks for each consecutive day you spend away from the warming light of the sun. These penalty’s stacks up to a total of 30. Once you are in the sunlight these penalty’s vanishes after one hour. This Disadvantage can only be purchased by Sun Elf characters during character creation.

Perfect Host [Mental] (4 Points)
Your family believed in the old ogre host tradition, a custom practised by ogre’s for generations. When someone comes to you as a guest. Be it at your home, camp or other abode you’re compelled to invite them in, share your food and room. Allowing them to eat their fill even if you need to go hungry. If the only bed available is yours, then you must offer it to the guest. You can resist doing this by succeeding on a Willpower roll against a TN of 30. However if the guest behaves poorly you receive a 1k1 one bonus on all social rolls against that guest while he is under your care. Once the guest leaves your abode and if he behaved badly, you receive a 1k0 attack and damage bonus against him, if you face him in combat. This bonus remains for a number of weeks equal to your Willpower Trait. This Disadvantage can only be purchased by ogre characters during character creation.

Poor Crafter [Physical & Mental] (3 Points)
You lack the common finesse dwarfs have when it comes crafting. Be it because of two hands with only thumps or a simple lack of creativity. You lose the Craft masters Racial Advantage

Weak Orc [Physical] (10 Points)
Due to your human heritage, be it close or distant, has left you without the common orcish strength. Remove the Orcish Strength racial advantage. This Disadvantage can only be purchased by Half-orc’s or Orcs characters during character creation.
